Nigeria: A new party pops up, 40year old Eunice Atuejide bids to unseat Buhari

A 4oyear old businesswoman, lawyer, and politician, Eunice Uche Julian Atuejide has successfully founded the new political party, National Interest Party in a bid to unseat the 75year old Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking a 5year second term in 2019.

Eunice Atuejide, was endorsed unanimously by the National Executive Council of the party to be their flagbearer in the 2019 general election.

“The Convention unanimously endorsed Mrs. Eunice Atuejide as the party’s flagbearer for the 2019 presidential elections via voice votes and show of hand” – a communique issued by NEC of the party stated

“The leadership of the National Interest Party wishes to reassure Nigerians that it is not relenting in its quest to provide a platform for quality leaders to ride to power in Nigeria” – the statement added

Brief Profile of Eunice:

Atuejide born in Lagos, hails from Ukehe, Igbo Etiti LGA of Enugu State. Atuejide holds multiple tertiary qualifications in law, business administration, and languages. She is qualified to practice law in Nigeria and the UK.

Atuejide has so far studied, worked, lived in, and/or visited more than 70 countries, and can speak at least six different Nigerian and international languages.

Atuejide’s formal education and experiences relating with different people and cultures around the world greatly informed the decision to form NIP; the implementation process that birthed NIP as the world’s first online political party; and the design of the web presentation of the platform.

Atuejide is also the C.E.O. of EB Consults Ltd, a company which helps clients worldwide conceptualise, develop, and maintain complex web presence, and which connects lucrative projects with investors and lenders across the globe.
