In a statement copied Awake News, the youth leader cautioned saying the “Electoral Commission headed by Jean Mensah appears to be gradually sinking the image of the electoral body and which promises nothing in the coming days but chaos and political unrest.”
According to him, the instance in the compilation of the new register at the wake of the frightening coronavirus cases will among to mother but a disaster to the Ghana Medical Association and Allied Health Workers in the country.
“Chiefs, Civil Society Organizations as well as concerned citizens including University lecturers have called on the the Jean Mensah led administration to find alternative ways of dealing with the so-called new voters register but all proved futile as she is bent on achieving that move .
I must say that, relative to this move , the new voters register if given the green light by the Supreme Court will obviously put pressure on the Ghana Medical Association, specifically the medical doctors who are working so hard to curb the further spread of this pandemic” – Mr. Nudokpo-Honu said
He however, accused the seat of government of support the Jean Mensa-led agenda of the new register.
“The unthoughtful actions of Madam Jean Mensah which are vehemently supported by the Jubilee House has undermined science, ethics and tireless efforts of our medical officers.”
For him, “It is time we all speak out to save our country from these nation wreckers”

Indeed , the new voters register as initiated by the Electoral Commission, is a move kicked against by several bodies and well meaning Ghanaians.
It could be recalled that , the Electoral Commission headed by Jean Mensah appears to be gradually sinking the image of the electoral body and which promises nothing in the coming days but chaos and political unrest. It is hard to believe that a fierce critique like Madam Jean Mensah who chastised previous Commissioners of the electoral body could be so incompetent and immeasurably recalcitrant.
Chiefs, Civil Society Organizations as well as concerned citizens including University lecturers have called on the the Jean Mensah led administration to find alternative ways of dealing with the so-called new voters register but all proved futile as she is bent on achieving that move .
I must say that, relative to this move , the new voters register if given the green light by the Supreme Court will obviously put pressure on the Ghana Medical Association, specifically the medical doctors who are working so hard to curb the further spread of this pandemic.

I must say that the coming days should the new register come into force, promises to create an uncontrollable situation for the nation’s medical association and I call on the association (GMA) to declare their stance .
Already, public and private hospital beds are occupied , whiles some in highly deplorable states. Additionally, frontline staffs are struggling to provide their own Personal Protective Equipments(PPEs) simply because government’s efforts are not enough in that regard. Our treatment centres are flooded whiles there are not much funds to cater for the anticipated case increment in the subsequent days .
It is time we all speak out to save our country from these nation wreckers.
