NDC’s reorganization exercise is the tool for victory 2020 – Chris Ankou

Agenda 2020: Our Train has just stopped over at Madina Constituency in Accra –

Christopher Selorm Ankou

Human Rights Advocate and Activist, Mr. Christopher Selorm Ankou who declared his intention to contest the position of the NDC’s Secretary in the Madina Constituency in the Greater Accra Region has predicted victory for the opposition NDC in 2020 citing the importance of the ongoing reorganization exercise of the party.

Speaking to Awake’s Agenda 2020, Chris said the ongoing reorganization exercise of the NDC is an important one that will lead to a resounding victory of the party in 2020 if the necessary care is taken.

[ads1]According to him, the NDC is a ‘mass party’ whose strength emanates from the ordinary people at the grassroots hence going back to the grassroots is the best for the party considering the defeat suffered at the polls in 2016.

For him, “Thinking first of the party in all decisions we make” is key to election 2020 victory.

Chris speaks on the NDC’s reorganization agenda:

The ongoing reorganization exercise in my party, the NDC is a very important exercise.

The success of this exercise is critical to the overall success of the party in the 2020 elections. As a mass party and one who’s strength emanate from the ordinary people, this is only another attempt to bring everyone into the decision-making process of the party hence the credibility of the registration exercise cannot be overemphasized.

The people of the Madina constituency have all embraced this very important exercise and are meticulously ensuring it’s success.

I can only hope that the executives whose job it is to ensure the success of the exercise are not selfish or compromised in their constitutional mandate.

For the people of Madina, hope makes all things possible.

Touching on the party’s leadership in Madina Constituency, this is what he had to say:

Let our leaders in the constituency better represent us. The current executives have failed not only the party but the people of Madina and the people need new crop of executives they can trust and who have the interest of the people and party at heart.

Madina NDC needs a different kind of leadership and face to inspire hope in the youth and members of the party.

“With this current secretary having failed us all terribly, some of us have decided to demonstrate commitment to party work by giving ourselves for the job”.

I look forward to presenting myself for elections once nominations are opened to contest the secretary position in Madina; he added.

I believe it is possible together.
