NDC’s 30th Anniversary: strengthening the branches, repositions for 2024 – Mike Hammah

Former Minister of Land and Natural Resources under the erstwhile Prof. Atta Mills administration, Mr Mike Hammah has said the 30th anniversary of the great umbrella fraternity (NDC) should focus on strengthening the various branches of the party thereby repositioning the party for victory 2024.

According to him, the party he said, ought to focus on taking the mantle of leadership to restore the lost hopes of Ghanaians.

He further said, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) going to 2024 elections should place more emphasis on re-equipping , re-tooling and above Strengthening the various branches to adequately prepare to win the next elections.

His comments come on the backdrop of this year’s 30th Anniversary of the party which he took part at Low-cost North Branch in the Effutu constuency to aid put the wheels of the branch together and Mend the cracks at the branch level.

Touting the achievements of the party since it’s inception of the party, the former Minister reiterated that, the NDC in the history of Ghana had contributed immensely to the growth and development of the country more than any political group in the fourth republic.

NDC’s track records in all sectors of the economy while the government was matchless and no political party can rub shoulders with the NDC in terms of developments” he added

He recounted that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is utterly good at slogans to confuse and deceive the electorates to cast their votes but nothing to offer the good people of Ghana.

He said, Prior to the 2016-2020 Polls, the governing NPP made numerous promises to Ghanaians but now delivering hell thus propelling the country into serious untold hardship.

He further stated that, there’s absolutely nothing new under the sun as they would repeat the same abysmal performance come 2024 if Ghanaians mistakenly vote for them again on lines of lies,deceits and deception.

“The incessant complaints from majority of Ghanaians is a vivid indication that, Ghanaians are readily ready to vote for the NDC to recapture power from the substandard NPP government under President Akuffo Addo’s watch” he stressed

He reiterated that,the incumbent has woefully failed and the entire country should come in unison to vote massively for the NDC to rescue country from the sinking ship from Akuffo-Addo”

He admonished all NDC members to strive on unity, togetherness and respect for the elders in the party as it is the core principle of mending the cracks in the party towards victory 2024.

He urged all and sundry to eschew unnecessary comments and mannerisms that would be a cankerworm against the party because the victory of NDC is assured.
