The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the region has distributed over 5,000 nose masks to market folks in the Anloga market on Saturday, 13 June, 2020.
The exercise which was led by the Regional Youth Organizer, Mathias Alagbo was complemented with an intensive educational campaign against the deadly covid-19 pandemic.
The team urged the market folks to continue to adhere to the safety protocols as they go about with their economic activities, while adding that the NDC would need them alive to build a better Ghana come December 7, 2020.
Mr. Alagbo emphasised that the NDC would do anything possible to ensure that Ghanaians, especially the youth are inspired enough towards the realization of their goals, while indicating that: “that can only be achieved when we continue to observe all the protocols and then remain healthy.”
Saturday’s distribution exercise is part of an initiative launched by the Volta Youth Wing towards the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Market folks in Ho, Hohoe, Kpando and Aflao were the beneficiaries from the earlier distributions.
The team among others, included the party’s National Deputy Youth Organizer, Edem Agbana, Volta Regional Deputy Youth Organizer, Angelo Agbidzie, Mr. Joseph Agbeko Kpogo, Bill Ocloo and Mad. Vivian Kpeglo.
