NDC to unveil ‘Youth Manifesto’ ahead of main manifesto launch

The opposition National Democratic Party (NDC) is set to launch a “Youth Manifesto” in the coming weeks, the National Youth Organizer of the party, George Opare Addo, has revealed.

The event will be held on Monday, August 12 of this year, ahead of the launch of the party’s main manifesto in Cape Coast later in the month.

Mr. Opare Addo, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), taunted the initiative as the first of it kind in the country – a political party launching its youth manifesto.

“First time ever a political party in Ghana will be doing this. The NDC will be launching the Youth Manifesto,” the NDC National Youth Organizer revealed on X.

He further described the manifesto as “a social contract with young people on how we plan to maximize the potential of our youth; provide them with sustainable jobs that will set them on the path to growth and prosperity.”

The NDC launched their national campaign on July 27 in Tamale, as the party prepares to capture power in the December general elections.
