The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed that it will launch its manifesto on Saturday, August 24th, ahead of the 2024 general election.
In a statement, the party confirmed that the event will be held in the Central Region. It also named a 9-member committee to oversee the preparation of the manifesto, chaired by the party’s Director of Interparty and Civil Society Relations, Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor.
The committee members are as follow:
- Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor (Director of Interparty and Civil Society Relations of the NDC) – Chairman
- Barbara Serwaa Asamoah Esq. (Deputy General Secretary) – Member
- Comrade Sammy Gyamfi Esq. (Communications Officer) – Member
- Comrade Elikem Kotoko (Deputy National Organizer) – Member
- Mr. Ludwig Hlordze (Director, Protocol and Logistics) – Member
- Nana Oye-Bampoe Esq. (Secretary to the Manifesto Committee) – Member
- Mrs. Beatrice Annan Esq. (Deputy Spokesperson for the John Mahama Campaign) – Member
- Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah (Former Minister of Sports) – Member
- Dr. Bernadette Hoffman- Member
