International Businessman and philanthropist, Mr Manfred Tawiah has thrown his weight behind the ongoing NDC re-registration exercise in the Afadzato South Constituency.

Mr. Tawiah who hails from Leklebi Agbesia in the Afadzato South District is supporting the exercise with a free registration fee of all [ads1]members of the constituency especially those in the rural areas.

Speaking to Awake News, Mr. Tawiah said he has noticed there are many members of the NDC in the villages who cannot afford the costs associated with registration.

According to him, most members in the villages will have to travel to the nearby town – Hohoe to be able to take their passport pictures which could cost each member an estimated amount of GHc12.00 and “absorbing the cost of the passport picture taking and payment of the GHc1.00 registration fee means a lot to them”

“I have deployed my team from Accra to start the exercise by taking the passport pictures and paying the GHc1.00 for all members when I noticed affording the costs associated with the exercise was becoming a challenge to many which can possibly render most of them unregistered” – Mr. Tawia said.
