The Deputy National Youth Organizer Aspirant, Bright Nudokpo-Honu has made a strong case for the youth in the opposition National Democratic Congress saying the Constituency Youth Representatives “did not contest just for votes and to vote at the Regional and National levels; they contested to work on the numerous needs of our youth at the grassroots.”
According to him, “It is a good call to have the other Youth Representatives voted for since the appointed people over years failed to serve the interest of the youth front.” but said it was a bad idea to get them out of the executive committee of the party at the constituency level once they participate in electing Regional and National Executives elections.
To him, “The role of our youth leaders at the constituency level can not be downplayed under any circumstance considering the huge number of young men and women joining the party every day.” therefore leading a campaign to get the other Youth Representatives to maintain as 2nd Deputy Constituency Youth Organizers.
“I am by this notice calling for the inclusion of the ‘Other Youth Representatives’ in the Constituency Executive Committee by making them Second Deputy Youth Organizers.
This decision will help the party reap the full potential of these vibrant youth leaders and also groom them for higher offices.” – He said

MAKE ‘OTHER YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES’ MEMBER’S OF THE CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Bright writes…
I WILL LEAD A CAMPAIGN TO MAKE THE ‘OTHER YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES’ SECOND DEPUTY YOUTH ORGANIZERS OF THE CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
The role of our youth leaders at the constituency level can not be downplayed under any circumstance considering the huge number of young men and women joining the party every day.
It is a good call to have the other Youth Representatives voted for since the appointed people over years failed to serve the interest of the youth front.
We cannot afford to leave out the gallant young men and women who by their conviction and desire to work for the grassroots, be kept out of executives after internal elections.
They did not contest just for votes and to vote at the Regional and National levels; they contested to work on the numerous needs of our youth at the grassroots.
What would the Other Youth Representatives tell their constituents should they opt to be re-elected in the next four years?
It is simply unfair for someone who has gone around the constituency for endorsement, campaigned and got elected to be kicked out of the Constituency Executive Committee. This is simply wrong for a social democratic party like ours.
I am by this notice calling for the inclusion of the ‘Other Youth Representatives’ in the Constituency Executive Committee by making them Second Deputy Youth Organizers.
This decision will help the party reap the full potential of these vibrant youth leaders and also groom them for higher offices.
I am in to serve!
Bright Nudokpo-Honu
Deputy National Youth Organizer Hopeful.
