NDC demands live telecast of its meeting with EC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is demanding a live telecast of its meeting with the Electoral Commission (EC) slated for Friday, 6th September 2024 to dialog on the Provisional Voters Register (PVR).

In a letter to the EC the General Secretary of NDC, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, noted that a live broadcast of the meeting will ensure transparency of the engagement.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the discrepancies and illegal transfer of votes by the EC. The NDC said “In connection with the upcoming meeting with your team slated for Friday, 6th September 2024, we request for a live broadcast of our presentation of observations found in the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) to your team. This, we believe, will give true meaning to transparency as found in your motto”.

REQUEST FOR LIVE BROADCAST OF PRESENTATION OF OBSERVATIONS FOUND IN PVR 2024

I bring you greetings from the NDC Party Headquarters, Accra and trust that this letter finds you well.

In connection with the upcoming meeting with your team slated for Friday, 6th September 2024, we request for a live broadcast of our presentation of observations found in the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) to your team. This, we believe, will give true meaning to transparency as found in your motto.
