NDC Constituency Deputy Com Officer to drag the party to court

The NDC Constituency Deputy Communication Officer for the Kwahu Afram Plains North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Fredrick Quodzo Tetteh has threatened to take the party to court.

Speaking in an interview with Awake News’ Joshua Tettey, he said his intention was fueled by the maltreatment he received at both [ads1]Regional and National Delegates Congress.

“I am taking this step to set the records straight. It is high time we give honor to whom it is due. At the Regional Congress, I was nearly denied the right to vote because my position as the deputy communication officer for my constituency was given to another. It took the intervention of my constituency chairman and secretary, Mr. Prosper Galinor and Taidu Mohammed respectively for my name to be included in the voters’ register. Thinking that mistake might have been corrected, the same incident happened at the just ended Nation Congress with the security threatening me with arrest. I had to be denied the right to vote” he said.

He further explained that all he intends pleading the court to do is to let the party recognize him as the Constituency Deputy Communication Officer and no other person.

“I am not seeking an injunction or re-election. My aim is for the court to make the party recognize me as the Constituency Deputy Communication Officer for the Kwahu Afram Plains North Constituency” he added.

It will be recalled that Fredrick Quodzo Tetteh in the Constituency Executive Elections beat one Mr. Issah Atuo to take over as the party’s Deputy Communication Officer and has since then been working tirelessly as such. However, his name was not captured in the party’s Regional and National Voters Register but that of Mr. Issah Atuo was seen in both registers as the deputy communications officer for the party in that constituency.
