Mr. Samuel Asare Akumoah, Deputy Chairman for NCCE (Operations) addressing the participants noted the NCCE is focusing this year on dealing with transparency and accountability issues bothering public [ads1]institutions.
“So we are using this opportunity to do a revival of citizenship participation in the Democratic governance holding each other accountable and making sure that, we play our role to promote transparency and accountability in all the dealing in our governance and at all level”, he stressed.
The National Commission for Civic Education is a government agency in Ghana responsible for education of Ghanaians on civic matters.
It was established by Act 452 of the Parliament of Ghana in 1993.
