Ghana’s fasting rising female rapper, Myra Stardoms has punched the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo over some issues she thinks affecting the Ghanaian society.
The Emklan Music record label signee in the song titled ‘Letter to President’, the rapper, touched many social problems relating to education, corruption, energy, health, peace & security, some government policies among others.
Myra as the President to take the riot at recently occurred in KNUST where students destroyed properties worth millions of Ghana cedis as an example of what could befall Ghana should many of the social problems under his reign not tackled pro-actively.
In the rap lines, she said the Free SHS is not even free as she brother pays some money and also that even though the Ghanaian youth work hard, they still find it difficult to find jobs.
She intimates that the President and his Vice should be reminded of their many promises to Ghanaians during the 2016 campaign.
For Myra like many other Ghanaians, nothing has changed since Nana Addo and the NPP government took over the mantle of leadership of the country.
In her slick style and charming voice, she blends Hausa, Twi and English and Hausa to press home her message with the hope that it gets to the President.
Myra is known for songs like the rap version of Becca’s ‘Hwer’, ‘Myself’ and ‘Girl Ye Steady.’
