The Alliance for Social Equity & Accountability-ASEPA, Mensah Thompson has petitioned the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice, CHRAJ to investigate the Cheif Justice nominee, Justice Anim Yeboah for not disclosing their assets in accordance with Article 286 of the Constitution.

In the petition sighted by Awake News, Mr. Thompson said the Chief Justice nominee has 2008 been a Justice of the Supreme Court but has not complied with Article 286 of the Constitution which required high public officer holders to declare their assets and liabilities.

He, therefore, wants the anti-graft agency to investigate Justice Anim Yeboah.

Mr. Thomson has also accordingly notified the Speaker of Parliament of Ghana of the petition he filed with CHRAJ saying any attempt by the House to approve of Justice Anim Yeboah will undermine the laws of the land.

Justice Anim Yeboah has been nominated by President Akufo-Addo following the retirement of the current Justice Justice Sophia Akufo.
