Adane Kwarteng Jonathan, a polling Station Executive of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reiterated that the Energy Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is the best bet to partner with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the NPP’s ticket in the December general election.
According to Mr Adane, after careful consideration and evaluation of numerous candidates for the vice presidential slot, the party must settle on Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh. He said the Energy Minister ticks all the boxes for vision, values and leadership qualities essential for the position.
Jonathan Kwarteng said Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh brings a wealth of experience, expertise and dedication to public service that aligns seamlessly with the objectives and ideals of the NPP.
He added that NAPO as he affectionately called comes with a proven track record of being a former Education Minister and currently the Minister of Energy and Petroleum. Additionally, NAPO embodies the principles of NPP and shares a deep commitment to the party.
“NAPO is a prominent figure within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana. His commitment to the party likely encompasses various activities such as campaigning, policy advocacy, and party organization. As a high-ranking member of the NPP, his commitment would likely extend to advancing the party’s agenda and supporting his candidate and initiatives,” Jonathan Adane noted.
