Massive support for Mahama; many pledge to pay for his filling fee

A list of 219 MPs, former appointees and Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is circulating on social media pledging to contribute GHc1,000.00 each as their contribution toward the filing fee for the former President.

“Dubbed “Operation 420 people willing to contribute GHS1,000 for JM”, the MPs4Mahama group has so far rallied and mobilised the following 219 volunteers, who have each pledged GHS1,000 towards the Mahama campaign:

Apart from the 219, the immediate-past Ashaiman Constituency Chairman of the NDC, Shaddad Umar Jallo, has also promised to pay half of the GHS400,000 filing fee, former Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC, Ohene Agyekum has also pledged to pay half while for group of spare parts dealers at Abossey Okai has also pledged to pay half of the filing fee for former president John Mahama.
