Ace investigative journalist and anti-corruption campaigner Manasseh Azure Awuni has pulled down a ‘distasteful’ post he made about H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Earlier, Manasseh made a post about H.E Nana Addo where he referred to recent comments by the President as “not befitting of a man of his age”.
Manasseh was upset that H.E Nana Addo found the Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu’s sputnik-V procurement saga as funny.
Manasseh also criticized H.E Nana Addo for the needless comment made about the former Auditor-General, Daniel Yaw Domelevo.
However, Manasseh via a post on Facebook said that some respectable friends reached out to him and that they found the wording of his post about the President as ‘distasteful’.
Manasseh pulled down the said post and apologized to the President and whoever was offended by the post but stood by the substance of his post, that “some of the utterances of the president are not befitting of him”.
