Man Utd, Liverpool & Real Madrid linked with sensational Lamine Yamal transfer

Lamine Yamal’s future is drawing significant attention from Europe’s elite football clubs, with reports suggesting that his agent, the highly respected Jorge Mendes, has been contacted by top sides such as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid to discuss the teenager’s potential availability. These inquiries come amid growing concerns over Barcelona’s financial struggles and their limited ability to maneuver in the transfer market.

Barcelona’s ongoing financial difficulties have put a strain on their ability to make moves in the transfer market. As a result, the club is expected to sell players this summer in order to raise funds for potential reinforcements. While players like Frenkie de Jong and Andreas Christensen have been mentioned as likely departures, other names such as Jules Kounde, Marc Casado, and Raphinha are also being considered for potentially lucrative sales.

If Barcelona is looking to generate substantial revenue, selling Yamal could be an obvious option. Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that several top clubs have already reached out to Mendes to explore the possibility of a deal. Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool are reportedly leading the race, but it is suggested that almost all of Europe’s top clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal, could also enter negotiations.

Paris Saint-Germain, who have long been admirers of Yamal, are also expressing interest. The French club previously attempted to secure his signature with a €250m bid last summer, as they searched for a star to replace Kylian Mbappe, though that offer was ultimately unsuccessful.

Yamal’s contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2026. However, due to his age—he won’t turn 18 until July—his earnings are currently capped. Despite this, he has already made it clear that he is eager to sign a new contract with Barcelona as soon as possible.

While Real Madrid has shown interest in signing Yamal, such a move seems highly unlikely. Yamal has repeatedly dismissed the idea of crossing the Clasico divide, having publicly laughed off the suggestion of joining Madrid on several occasions. Mendes has reportedly informed Madrid that a transfer is practically impossible. At this point, no further details have been revealed regarding interest from Premier League clubs or PSG.
