Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama has suspended his six (6) days campaign tour of the Ashanti region with immediate effect following the demise of former president Jerry John Rawlings.
Late President Rawlings passed on today Thursday 12th November 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital in the early hours of the day. He is said to have been on admission for one week for suffering from an undisclosed ailment.
However in a press statement signed by the campaign spokesperson for flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has indicated they have cut short their campaign due to the death of the founder of the great NDC.
