Former President John Dramani Mahama has taken to social media to congratulate the American 46th President-elect Joe Biden.
He expressed his enthusiasm for Joe Biden’s resilience and determination that led to his success today.
President Mahama reiterated his commitment to working together for the mutual benefits of both countries (Ghana and America) as he is optimistic of also winning the Ghanaian election come 7th December.
He indicated how Biden has not only shattered the glass ceiling but has punched a hole that will inspire the world to follow their footprint of inclusion, representation and unity, by picking a woman (Kamala Harris) as his vice President.
He further said “Congratulations #POTUS elect Joe Biden. Your resilience is admirable. It’s taken sheer grit and determination to chalk this victory. I look forward to us working together for the mutual benefit of our two countries and for a better world that ensures social justice and sustainable development.”
