Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has indicated that Ghanaians have learned a bitter lesson and will never be victims of the NPP litany of lies and big promises again.
According to him, before the 2016 and 2020 general elections, the elephant-sized party made big promises to Ghanaians and traded on lies and deceit to win power. He pleaded that Ghanaians shouldn’t fall prey to their tricks again as 2024 is a massive win for the NDC. Mr. Nkestiah stressed that the governing New Patriotic Party is ending its second term in office, the expectation would have been for the party to make the re-election bid based on its current performance and record of achievements and accomplishments rather than lies and promises.
Speaking at an event in Dome Kwabenya, during the introduction of the parliamentary candidate of the NDC, Mr. Nkestiah urged potential voters to take clues from the Assin North by-election and vote massively against the NPP.
The NDC Parliamentary candidate for the constituency in the December 7 pools, Elikplim Akurugu detailed strategies which when adopted will help the party to win the seat.
