The founder and leader of the Eagle Faith Ministry, an Accra-based church, Bishop Bright Fiatefe has accused the Church as been sleeping for a very long time hence the emergence of several social issues including that of the LGBTQ+ in Ghana.

In an interview with Awake News after the launch of the Jesus Revolution Evangelical Revival Programme at Adenta in Accra yesterday, Bishop Fiatefe noted that the issues affecting humanity lately can be attributed to the fact that the Church which ought to put society on track has been very dormant for every long time.

Responding to a question posed to him by Awake News’ reporter as to where the Jesus Revolution Campaign scheduled for June 2021 is part of a programme by some section of the Christian community to fight social issues such as the controversial LGBTQ, Bishop said “For a long time the Church has been what I call sleeping because if the church were very active, we will not be seeing these occurrences coming in”

According to the man of God, “there are many people who bear Christian names but in practice, they are not Christians so some of these people find their way into high positions of authority”. He was quick to add that the Jesus Revolution is not only targeted at issues of LGBTQ but every aspect of life as a country.

Yesterday, at the Eagle Faith Ministry auditorium in Accra, the GOfirst Global Ministry in collaboration with Be Free In Christ Ministry launched their Jesus Revolution Evangelism Revival Programme.

The media launch of the Jesus Revolution programme was hosted by Bishop Bright Fiatefe, founder of the Eagle Faith Ministry.

According to the founder of GOfirst Global Ministry, Bishop David Babatunde, “The main events including Open Air Crusade, Leadership Training, Worship Training Conference, University of Ghana (UG) Conference, TV and Radio Appearance, Orphanage, School and Prison visitations will be held in June, 2021″

The June 2021 event will see the coming of Apostle Ashley Gronholm, Founder & President of Be Free In Christ Ministry and Magdala Apostolic Ministry Bible School all from the United State of America.

“Apostle Ashley Gronholm is bringing fresh oil of pure Anointing and Revival to Accra, Ghana and Africa as a whole. She is operating a pure Apostolic Anointing upon which Leadership strength is built. Jesus Revolution is a Revelation God gives Apostle Ashley for Accra Ghana and Africa.” – An earlier statement issued by GOfirst GLobal Ministry has said.

Yesterday’s event at the Eagle Faith Ministry saw the attendance of about ten media houses and representatives of Westland Presbyterian Church, Rev. Nyirah Appiah from the Parliament of Ghana Fellowship amount other.
