O’Reilly Senior High School, popularly known as “O’REISCO” is a co-educational boarding school located at Okpoi-Gonno in the Ledzokuku Constituency.
The school which was established in August 1925 is the fourth oldest senior high school in Ghana and the second oldest in the Greater Accra Region.
The Member of Parliament for the area Hon. Ben Ayiku, knowing the mission of the school which inter alia is to train and nurture its students, deem it expedient to support the school with LED street lights to enhance the security of the school.
The MP has installed a number of the LED street lights at both the male and female boarding houses and its environs as part of his “lets there be light” personal campaign which accordingly, has brought relief to students since they could now afford to study and move about freely at night without the fear of heinous crimes.
In the company of the MP was the Assemblymember for the area and other party executives in the constituency.
A perfect and senior housemistress thanked the MP on behalf of the school for the kind gesture after the installation.
The MP has also fixed street lights at the Ledzokuku Education Directorate office and the southern cluster of schools.
