According to him, it was clear that the driver of the Kotoko bus lost control because he was speeding beyond limit when he approached a Kia Rhino which was loaded with bags of fertiliser.
[ads1]Though Mr. Yirenkyi admitted that the engineering of the road was faulty, he said there was no excuse for a careful driver to have accident on that road.
This comes on the heels of last night when one person lost his life while a dozen others of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko football team sustained various degrees of injuries when their bus ran into a moving Kia Rhino truck at Nkawkaw, near Abepotia.
The victims have since been referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Meanwhile, the conductor of the Kia truck who sustain injuries has been treated and discharged.
