A member of the Ashanti Region Communication Team of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Kwame Fugah has announced he will contest for the Deputy Regional Secretary of the party in the upcoming elections.
The former banker made the announcement on his Facebook post when he was updating his followers on his meeting with one of the elder in the party, Betty Mould Iddrisu.
“I paid a courtesy call on one of the pillars of our great party in Ghana in the person of Hon. Betty Mould Iddrisu; the first female Attorney General in Ghana. My visit was to officially inform her about my intention to contest for the Deputy Regional Secretary for the NDC in the Ashanti Region.” – Mr. Fugah said in the post
“She was pleased to receive me and my brother Prince Ahianyo; current deputy treasurer for the Ashanti Region .
Madam welcomed and assured us of her full support and guidance.” – He added
Joshua Kwame Fugah is graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He worked with the Bank of Africa for several year.
