John Mahama Commends Efo Worlanyo’s ‘Water is Life’ initiative in Hohoe

Former President John Mahama has commended Mr. Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for HOHOE for his “Water is Life” initiative which aims to address the water crisis in Hohoe.

In his answer to a question from a college student in Hohoe who raised a concern about the water crisis on campus, the 2024 NDC presidential candidate said Efo Worlanyo Tsekpos “Water is Life” initiative can solve their problem.

According to Mahama, Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has drilled thirteen boreholes since becoming NDC PC, adding that the campuses having water crises can talk to him to provide them with boreholes.

“For instance one of you complained of a water crisis on campus and I think that if you direct this appeal to your Parliamentary Candidate, he will assist you. I have been following his activities and I know since he became the candidate he has drilled thirteen (13) boreholes already. So the campus that complained of water crisis, Efo Worlanyo, please they will get in touch with you and try and help them drill a borehole to solve the water crisis that they have,” Mahama said.

Daily access to water is a major problem in the constituency, but Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, the NDC PC for Hohoe is working around the clock to alleviate the constituency’s water-related challenges.

To reach more people through the “Water is Life” campaign, Mr. Tsekpo has announced that beginning in 2024, two boreholes will be drilled monthly for areas that still need safe drinking water.

The Former President gave his full support to Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo to win the HOHOE seat for the NDC in the 2024 election.
