The Parliamentary Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dumelo has indicated he has started dredging one of the big gutters that causes flood at West Legon in the Awayaso West Wuogon Constituency in Accra.
According to the actor, “A few weeks ago, I visited this community in West Legon and promised I will come and start work on dredging the big gutter that causes flooding whenever it rains.”

Flooding many parts of Accra has become an annual ritual raising huge public concern as to what authorities are doing to permanently solve the problem as its rendered lot of people homeless, properties damaged and, lives lost.
Yesterday’s down poor has left about two people reportedly dead with numbers of homes flooded in some parts of Accra.
