The Member of Parliament for North Dayi in the Volta Region Jocelyn Tetteh has filled her nomination yesterday at the District office of the Electoral Commission in a spectacular manner as she rode on motorcycle Okada.
The vibrant and hardworking young MP was accompanied by Okada riders and some executives who drove through some principal streets to the Electoral Commission’s office to submit her nomination form.
The member of parliament was visibly seen at the back of one of the Okada riders while on her way to file her nomination. It is clear the NDC is not leaving anything to chance in their bid to win the 2020 elections.
After the submission of her nomination form, she took her time to explain portions of the manifesto to the crowd that throng the EC’s office to witness the filling process.
According to her, “The next John Mahama government will legalize Okada, He will make sure all abandoned roads are completed, increase pension payment of the aged to thirteen months and will increase maternity leave to four months for women”. This message received lots of cheers from those gathered.
She also used the opportunity to call on every one to engage in a retail campaign to make sure the message of the NDC reaches every home.
