PROJECT ASSISTANT FOR IMANI’s CENTRE FOR THE STUDY OF ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES

Job Description.

We seek an experienced project assistant to work collaboratively with our team on specific short and long-term research projects. In this role, you will oversee tasks delegated to you by the project lead, coordinate with all the necessary stakeholders and ensure that the project is moving forward according to schedule.

[ads1]Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with the project lead and team to maximize productivity on assigned projects
Provide support for project delivery
Provide support for project monitoring and evaluation-organize and monitor activity plans to see to it that deadlines are met.
Provide support for timely project reporting
Support the center with other energy related work

Project implementation and reporting
Project monitoring and evaluation
Project proposal development
Knowledge of the global and Ghanaian oil and gas industry
Exceptional research/report writing skills
Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills
Keen attention to detail and aptitude for problem solving
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Energy [Oil, Gas and Power] Economics or related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects (research)
Experience in conducting primary and secondary research
Hands on experience with data analysis software including Microsoft Excel
