US-based Ghanaian Investigative Journalist, Kevin Taylor definitely can best be described as the voice for the voiceless in Ghana. Many social media users who follow his works wished Ghana has “just five of the likes of Kevin Taylor”.
As many said, Mr. Taylor has taken to his With All Due Respect show to ask a critical question that many Ghanaians wish to ask President Akufo-Addo and his New Patriotic Party government when news reports trickled in that late Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John who died of COVID-19 will be buried in March 2021.
Without missing words whiles extending his condolences to the bereaved family of Sir John and disclaiming that he has no problem with Sir John, the voice for the voiceless Kevin Taylor asked:
Is Sir John Better Than Anyone?
Mr. Taylor is then wondering why Sir John’s body would be kept till March 2021 when WHO’s protocols on the burial of people who died of COVID-19 should be around 2weeks or so.
“Is there any IVP treating in COVID-19, Mr. President, Why should Sir John’s body be kept for close to 10months?”
Former General Secretary of the ruling NPP and CEO of the Forestry Commission died on July 1, 2020 at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
