The Parliamentary Candidate for the opposition Nationa Democratic Congress (NDC) for Adentan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mohammed Adamu Ramadan has said he will establish a woman empowerment fund to support women entrepreneurs in the constituency if elected at the December 7, 2020 polls.

Speaking to party supporters at the Adenta Shopping Centre during a campaign meeting with the Vineyard Branch of the NDC, on Thursday, September 24, 2020, Mr. Adamu Ramadan revealed that the majority of women in the constituency are artisans and entrepreneurs adding that he has the plan to empower them with an interest-free business support loans through the Adentan Woman Empowerment Fund if given the mandate to represent them in parliament come January 2021.

To help the fund achieve its intended purpose, he said independent fund managers will be appointed to help in the proper administration of the fund and to help the fund revolve.

Mr. Ramdan noted that the Adentan Constituency has over the years since 2004 changes their MPs almost every one years but “I will want to work closely with you and be with you for a long time if given the node on December 7, 2020.

He said the NPP’s Boaben Asamoa has failed the people f Adentan and thus must be kicked out adding that the only way to achieve that is when a member of the NDC complement the efforts of the Flagbearer, John Mahama; his running mate Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang and his good self to send the message of the NDC’s People’s Manifesto to every individual in the constituency.
