Zeinab Alhassan and Nana Addo

Zeinab Alhassan, a member of the Communication Team of the opposition National Democratic Congress, has one very important task on her wishlist if she were made the Inspector General of Police of Ghana today.

“Arrest Nana Addo” would have been the first thing she will do should she be made IGP today in Ghana.

This was the communicator’s answer to a question posed by EIB Network on their social media pages.

Ms. Alhassan has not for long-hidden her stance on the governance style of President Akufo Addo and therefore takes to her social media pages to throw punches to the first gentleman of the land in the least opportunity.

In April this year, Zeinab Alhassan opined that if political achievements were awards, President Akufo-Addo will lose all categories.

According to Zeinab in the hit of the 2016 general elections, President Akufo-Addo sole himself to Ghanaians as though he had what it take to transform Ghana to be like many supper power countries but it turns out to be a situation that can best be described as being politically scammed.

“In fact, with the way Akufo-Addo sold himself to Ghana in the 2016 election campaign, I thought by now Ghana like Dubai, London, New York City and the likes but ahhhhhh, we have been politically scammed.” – she said

“Today, if Political Achievements were awards, Nana Addo will lose all categories,” she added

Ms. Alhassan backed her comment in a four number bulletin point of promises President Akufo-Addo failed to deliver:

1. His 88 district hospitals are yet to manifest.

2. He hasn’t built the secondary schools he promised.

3. Not even a single megawatt has been added to our national grid.

4. Free SHS is in shambles as parents are urged to pay their wards fees is they can.

For her, President Akufo-Addo “governance is the cause 90 of all times.”

President Akufo-Addo has secured a second term in office in an election that the opposition NDC still maintains was rigged by the Electoral Commissioner his favor.

The President Akufo-Addo led NPP government is being hunted by their own festival of promises many of which many Ghanaians including Zeinab Alhassan feel they are still yet to deliver to the expectation of Ghanaians.
