“If he can’t define the problem, he can’t fix it” – NDC Executive hits back at Bawumia

Nana Bamfo, Central Regional Coordinator for the Traders and Artisans Network, NDC

The Central Regional Coordinator for the Traders and Artisans Network of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nana Bamfo, has argued that it would be an unpardonable mistake to overlook former President John Mahama and vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 elections.

Speaking to journalists in Agona Swedru after touring some markets in the area, Mr. Bamfo claimed that the Vice President’s inability to understand the current problems in the country indicates he has no plan to improve the lives of the people.

“If you cannot define the problem, you cannot solve it; if you cannot diagnose the disease you cannot prescribe any drugs to cure same,” he told the media.

According to him, Mr. Mahama’s vision of protecting jobs and boosting employment is a testament to his comprehensive understanding of the problems facing the country.

Mr. Bamfo added that the NDC’s 24-hour economy initiative, along with the introduction of the Women Development Bank, would both preserve and strengthen existing jobs while creating new, sustainable ones.

He further criticized the NPP’s policy of helping the youth buy phones, arguing that the Vice President lacked an understanding of the country’s challenges. Mr. Bamfo also urged traders and artisans to vote massively for the NDC.

He argued that a new NDC government, under the leadership of Mr. Mahama, will be a government for traders and artisans.
