Kwesi Pratt Jnr

Kwesi Pratt has voiced his frustration over what he sees as intentional misrepresentation of his views on the privatization of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

In a recent appearance on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana, he addressed accusations from a presenter who falsely claimed he had remained silent on the issue.

Pratt made it clear that he has always been a vocal opponent of the privatization of ECG, and his position has remained unchanged since it was first proposed.

He was particularly perplexed by the fact that the presenter’s team had received video clips of his past statements opposing the privatization but still chose to misrepresent his stance on air.

Pratt described this as “childish mischief” and questioned the motives behind such actions, asking, “What do they seek to achieve?”

The host of Good Morning Ghana apologized for the mix-up, but Pratt shrugged it off, saying, “It’s okay, it’s not a problem.” His comments shed light on the ongoing issues of misinformation and political bias in media, emphasizing the need for more accurate and honest discourse.
