Human Right court quashes 3-year suspension of lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu

The Human Rights Court presided over by Her Ladyship Justice Gifty Agyei-Addo has set-aside the orders of the General Legal Council suspending the renowned Human Rights Lawyer from practice for 3years.

Her Ladyship on July 11, 2018, also set-aside the one-year mentorship handed to Lawyer Sosu.

She found that the charges of Touting and Personal Advertisement as grave misconduct were not in accordance with law.

This follows the hearing of an Application for Judicial Review filed by Lawyer Sosu on November 3, 2017.
