Ho Central NDC Youth Wing Launched

The Ho Central Constituency of the National Democratic Congress NDC, has inaugurated a 20 member working committee -youth wing, in the regional capital yesterday.

The ‘youth wing’ will coordinate activities and consolidate efforts in the [ads1]organization of the youths within the constituency, right down through the branches to the zones.

The Committee will work directly under the supervision of the Constituency Youth Organiser, through the Youth Wing Coordinator, who will report to him directly on activities of the Committee.

Speaking at the event, the Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Hon. Benjamin Kwabla Kpodo, entreated the Committee to work assiduously for the return of the NDC into power come 2020.

“First of all, I want to laud the organisers of this good idea and thank them for the initiative. But let’s not forget the Committee has a lot of work to do.”

“Let’s us not think that the scandals rocking the NPP government will automatically hand over power to us; not the Ameri deal, the KelniGVG nor the BOST saga will do. It’s our own hardwork that will bring us back, I, therefore, entreat the Committee to begin working now.”

The MP, used the occasion to also call on members of the party not to register for the Ghana Card, claiming the NDC still wants the government to reconsider the addition of the voter’s ID as a prerequisite for the registration.
