The Greater Accra Zabrama Chief who doubles as the President of the Ghana Zabrama Association, Alhaji Pro-Umar Abubakar Tanko, on Thursday, 17/01/2019 inducted Nine (9) members to spearhead the activities of the Zabrama communities in the Greater Accra Region.
Their induction was aimed at ensuring the well-being of the Zabrama people in Ghana as well as to promote and project the interest of one another for a formidable and vibrant leadership of Alhaji Pro-Umar Abubakar Tanko.
The inducted members consist of 7 males and 2 females who were mandated to coordinate activities of the palace and also to share ideas with the Chief towards the development of the Zabrama communities in Ghana.
In his remarks, Alhaji Pro-Tanko called on the newly inducted cabinet members to serve the people rather than the people serving them. This, he said, will help in achieving the goals of improving the living standards of the Zabrama people especially the vulnerable.
He said for them to succeed in achieving their goals as decision- makers, they need to respect the views and opinions of each other and treat all their subjects equal.
He urged the inductees to see themselves as ambassadors to promote and protect the interest of the Zabrama communities and let their lifestyles be exemplary to others.
On his part, Zaid Pro-Umar Tanko, an inducted Member who spoke on behalf of his colleagues promised that they will do their very best to promote and protect the interest of the Zabrama adding that they will outline policies created by the Chief and implement them to the benefit of the Zabrama people in Ghana and make themselves available at all times to the Chief and the people.
He said the success of the Chief depends largely on them, hence the need to work together for the Chief to succeed.
The inducted members include, Larabu Muhammed Sarkin Fada, Alhaji Musah Fuseini also known as Soroko, Waziri, Salifu Abdu Sarkin Yaaki, Addul Razak Musah Wangari Sardawna, Zaid Pro-Umar Tanko cheroma Malam Hamza Usman Imam, Rukaiya Muhammed and Muniratu Mahmud.
