Accra Lions secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Medeama SC. The relegation-threatened Accra Lions took the lead in the second half via Nigerian international Lucky Nwafor’s penalty.
Legon Cities made it back-to-back wins in the Ghana Premier League for the second time this season after shocking league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars by a lone goal to nil at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. Fredrick Akatuk’s second-half strike separated the two teams.
Heart of Lions returned to winning ways after a 2-1 win over Aduana Stars in Kpando. Bashir Hayford’s side had lost their last two games but goals from Kwesi Pong and Asante Seedorf put them in a comfortable lead. An 85th-minute strike from Alex Boakye was a mere consolation for Aduana Stars.
Asante Kotoko narrowly pipped their bogey side Karela 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Justice Blay’s second-half strike proved to be the winner as the victory sent the Porcupine Warriors to the top of the table.
Isaiah Nyarko and Emmanuel Abban’s goals in each half helped Bechem United beat Nations FC 2-0 in Bechem.

At the Wenchi Town Park, Young Apostles beat Nsoatreman 1-0. Emmanuel Kyei’s 56th-minute goal condemned Nsoatreman to another defeat.
Defending champions Samartex drew 1-1 against Dreams FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samraboi. Joseph Esso’s strike for Dreams in the 70th minute cancelled Mohammed Mankuyelli’s 51st-minute opener.
Berekum Chelsea won 1-0 at the Berekum Golden City Park against Vision FC. Emmanuel Sarpong scored the only goal of the game for Chelsea in the first half.
