The founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has predicted that Kennedy Agyapong, who is seeking to lead the NPP, will never win the presidential race slot to become the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party.
He argued that Mr. Kennedy Agyapong could never emerge as the winner in the November 4 presidential election of the NPP due to some wild allegations the political giant leveled against the clergy a few years ago.
In an interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning, Prophet Gaisie disclosed that Mr. Agyapong had the chance to lead the NPP, but the opportunity slipped once he began spewing bad things about him as a man of God.
“If not for what Kennedy Agyapong did to some of us, he stood a very good chance of winning, but he has messed it up. He’s a fine man, but for what he has done and for my sake, there’s no way God will honor him,” he told the host, Felli.
He made reference to the Bible verse, which indicates, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.” The controversial seer affirmed that he has a covenant with God, hence anyone who attacks him causes destruction to themselves.
Reacting to questions on how Mr. Agyapong’s allegations affected him, the man of God indicated that a huge number of his church members deserted him and almost lost his mother to death because of the humiliation leveled against him as a murderer.
Before that, Prophet Gaisie pledged to pray against the NPP flagbearer aspirant if he even won the slot because of what Kennedy Agyapong said about the church.
“What he did to the church, even if they give the nod to him, some of us will pray and fight that it should not be.”
While saving that nobody is above accusations or criticism in this country, Prophet Gaisie noted that one must always prove beyond all reasonable doubt when the person leveled allegations against someone.
He said some NPP members have tagged him as a sympathizer of the National Democratic Congress since the majority of his prophecies are in favor of the John Mahama-led NDC party.
But justifying that on the show, the man of God claimed that he is more affiliated with the NPP than the NDC.
“I’m more pro-NPP than pro-NDC. Just that, it’s the work I’m doing. I don’t think that I hate NPP, but it’s just unfortunate that for the past six to seven years, my prophetic inspiration hasn’t favored them because they’re not doing the right thing, and I speak what God inspires me to say.”
He added that his 2024 prophecies are still intact and that the NDC will win, and he will not be intimidated to say different things when the time is right.
