Mr. Samuel Dzidulali Kofi Danku, the Chief Executive Officer of Life DS Group of Companies, owners of Life Petroleum in Tema and West 95.7 FM in Ho has over the weekend received an Honorary Award in recognition of his support for education in regions where his businesses operate.
The award was presented to him at the 2021 Ghana Tertiary Students Excellence Awards ceremony held in the auditorium of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly office complex at Kinbu in Accra on Saturday, October 9, 2021. A citation presented to Mr. Danku reads in part “you readily support the provision of infrastructure in educational institutions” and “your companies offer ready internship opportunities to tertiary students”.
Accepting the award, Mr. Danku thanked the organizers of the awards ceremony for the honour done him and promised to do more to support education as the success of his businesses largely depends on the quality of human resources produced by our educational systems.
Mr. Danku was accompanied by Mamaga Asabea VII, Paramount Queen Mother of Akrofu traditional Area in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region.
