Dr. Raphael NyarkoteyObu, a well-known holistic Medical Practitioner and a prostate cancer researcher has grab top awards for helping shape the Africa Health industry.
The event held on 6th March 2018, at the Olympia Conference center in London at 7:30 pm was attended by high powerful delegations from over 30 Africa Health Ministries. Dr. Nyarkotey was represented by his [ads1]UK counterparts for the awards.
About the Africa Healthcare Summit Awards
The Africa Healthcare Summit Awards were established to reward excellence and achievements in the field of African healthcare provision and to recognize new international solutions and technologies that have the potential to create positive change in Africa. The awards are judged by an expert panel of high profile made up of Medical Doctors of notable Africa Medical Associations, independent judges made up of senior managers from African hospitals, ministries of health, healthcare providers, NGO’s and leading African distributors.
The awards ceremony takes place during the Africa Healthcare Summit, the largest African healthcare event to take place in Europe. The Africa Healthcare Summit brings together hundreds of senior personnel from health ministries, hospitals, healthcare providers, NGOs, medical device manufacturers and distributors from across Africa and around the world.
About Dr. Nyarkotey
Dr. Nyarkotey has distinguished himself and a well-known authority in the fight against prostate cancer in Ghana and Africa. He pushed for father’s Day as National prostate cancer awareness day under John DramaniMahama presidency bringing the disease to the doorsteps of political leadership. He has been very consistent on his crusade against prostate cancer after he enrolled and studies the first-ever Master’s program in Prostate cancer care organized by Sheffield Hallam University, UK and Prostate Cancer UK, and his Doctor of Philosophy in alternative medicine with research interests in prostate cancer and natural medicines in India.
He completed his postdoctoral program in Holistic Medicine with a research on the Hibiscus Sabdariffa plant and it impacts on Ghanaian men prostatic issues under the guidance of Dr. George Georgiou of Da Vinci College of Holistic Medicine, Larnaca city, Cyprus. He has published several papers on the hibiscus plant infused with other Ghanaian plants. He has recently established the Dr. Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine, at Tema Community 7, Post Office.
The college is the first Holistic Medicine School in Ghana. He has published several research papers on prostate cancer and holistic medicine and a columnist with the Chronicle Newspaper. His column in the Chronicle newspaper is the most read and has gradually taken the attention in the media landscape on Fridays in the Newspaper. His articles on modernghana are highly read and assessed with close to two million readers.
He was finally appointed as a Research Professor of Prostate cancer and Alternative Medicine at Da Vinci College of Holistic Medicine, Larnaca City, Cyprus at age 31. He has won several awards in 2017.His prostate cancer and research also extended to Nigeria. He is the Medical Director and Principal scientist at RNG Medicine and Prostate Research Centre at Tema community 18, member of the Prostate cancer transatlantic consortium, a firm researching into prostate cancer in the black community.
Dr. Nyarkotey is also the National President of the Alternative Medical Association of Ghana (AMAG). He has helped shape the field of alternative medicine in Ghana and builds public trust in the field and often OhenebaNtimBarima of Oman FM mentions his name on prostate cancer and natural medicine. He was featured in Seth Kwame Boateng’s Balls in Danger documentary on prostate cancer. Dr. Nyarkotey attended Ghanata Secondary School at Dodowa and developed interests in prostatic health after he studied Medical Sonography at Radford University College, east Legonand worked in both herbal and conventional hospitals focusing on prostate ultrasound.
His Research on the Hibiscus plant
His awards were based on his research on the hibiscus plant and bringing prostate cancer diseases awareness to national limelight. Dr. Nyarkotey research brought the Hibiscus plant as the best tea for prostate health and has infused bioscalar technology to increase the concentration of his formula which is awaiting patent. Recently, the Venezuela news bulletin also published his work on the hibiscus plant and prostatic issues where he further infused thirteen additional evidence-based ingredients in his formula termed ‘ Men’s Formula’. Anotherbioenergized hibiscus tea which was tested at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology also for the first time in Ghana revealed its effectiveness for hypertensive management.
Dr. Nyarkotey attributed his success to a prophecy he received from Prophet Christopher Yaw Annor of the Holy Ghost Temple of the International Central Gospel Church, Adenta-Fafraha during a spiritual emphasis program.
