Kofi Bentil, Senior Vice President of IMANI Africa and legal practitioner, has stated that Ghana needs new leaders, not those who have previously served.
According to him, the country would benefit more from being led by fresh leaders rather than an “old, rejected” one, referring to former president John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The renowned attorney further added that Ghanaians will have the opportunity on December 7 to pave the way for fresh leadership, suggesting that Mahama may be rejected in the upcoming election.
“Kamala is marching to a win and one of her campaign slogans is …‘Not Going Back’…
Ghana also has a chance to clear the past. It’s better to go forward to a future with fresh leaders than go back to the old rejected past…,” he wrote on Facebook.
Kofi Bentil, unlike other leaders of IMANI Africa, has declared full support for the Vice President as he seeks to lead the country as President starting in January.
