GETFund Scholarship Portal Opened

The Administrator of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), Dr Richard Boadu, has announced the opening of the GETFund scholarship application portal for undergraduate and graduate local programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year.

“The GETFund invites eligible candidates to apply for undergraduate Diploma, HND & Degree programmes, as well as graduate scholarships for the 2023/2024 academic year,” he said.

He stated that the scholarships would provide financial assistance to eligible students pursuing Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), and Degree programmes, allowing them to develop their potential and embark on a path to academic success.

Dr. Boadu urged potential applicants to grasp the opportunity to ensure their future and explore limitless possibilities.

“Whether you aspire to further your education in the arts, sciences, business, or any other field, the GETFund Scholarship can assist you in achieving your goals,” he added.

Dr Boadu encouraged prospective applicants to visit the GETFund website: https://getfund.scholarshipsplatform.com to complete the Online Application by filling out the online application form available on the portal.

Dr. Boadu indicated that applications will be vetted, with shortlisted individuals contacted for further instructions. The application window will end on January 31, 2024, and late applications will not be accepted. Fraud and misrepresentation could result in criminal charges.

“Applicants are not allowed to apply for the same degree (Undergraduate, Postgraduate) twice if they have already received a scholarship,” he indicated.

He urged students to include the complete program term, check proper wording, and upload and label any essential documents on the portal.

Dr. Boadu noted that application incompleteness, numerous submissions, discrepancies between uploaded documents, conflicting names, improper selection of institutions or programs, and incorrect document format can result in automatic application disqualification.
