Get The Fury Up When You Fall

“I prayed for death on a daily basis … I woke up and thought why didn’t I die in my sleep … I tried to drink myself to death. I attempted to crash into a bridge one time.” – Tyson Fury

Our problem isn’t because we fall, our problem is because we refuse to turn the lemons life throws at us into lemonade

We are never at fault for falling, we are however at faut for staying down.

No fall is to difficult to rise from, every pain or let down that keeps you alive is beneath you, if you remain defeated, it passes as consensual.

Two years ago, Tyson Fury was a man who looked to head for distraught, he battled with alcohol, mental health, public rejection and everything that makes suicide a reasonable option. Add this to the fact that his father was sentenced to 11 years for gauging another man’s eye over beer.

It looked over for the once  boxing prodigy who surprised Vladimir Klitschko and the word, the headlines were negative but the body of the news always perfectly conformed with it, reporters didn’t need to be sensational to wow with his negative lifestyle and experience.

Instead of giving up and ending all, the popular option given his problems, Fury didn’t stop fighting, Jesus, Family and  boxing was critical, he credits these for his redemption. Jesus is available to anyone, family should be good enough reason to keep fighting and what about passion? If the things you love doing aren’t motivating enough to keep you fighting, then find another passion. It’s simple.

Today Fury is a hero and example to many people around the world battling rejection, depression and addiction.

When he managed to secure a comeback fight against the hardest puncher in boxing today, the world felt he had asked for too much. Three years out of boxing, emptying bottles of alcohol and abusing drugs, he was deemed extremely out of shape to last a round.

As if by divine providence, his entire life of three years prior was replayed in that ring.

After dominating Wilder, winning seven rounds of the 9 rounds the tenth round would tell Fury’s story better than anything imaginable.

Going down on the deadly right punch of Wilder, he was caught with a deadlier left hook. Unexpected blow is what hurts boxers the most. He lied down flat like a dead man

To everyone, it was over, the very right hand of Wilder he had skillfully and tactically avoided all night was going to be his eventual undoing. A gallant fight had ended as expect: a knockout. The only exception being that it took longer than expected. Everyone was wrong

At the 9th count by the referee, Fury was up on his feet, Wilder, already celebrating a knockout with his fans looked stunned, everyone at Madison Square Gardens was stunned.

For a man who and come from a place of no return, this was simply a replay of his life: a challenge he had once overcome.

He went ahead to win the 11th round. At the 12th round, it was Wilder who looked dazed and yearning for a breather.

I don’t know the problems you are battling, if it hasn’t killed you, then it can only make you stronger.

Keep fighting, it is an option and so is quitting.

Have you ever been to a place where it felt the problems had gotten the better of you? You’re here because you made it regardless of the scars. Congratulations

It is a basic human instinct to give up or keep fighting: everything comes down to choice.

When you are down and almost out and think giving up is the best option: TYSON FURY SAYS HI
