Prices of petroleum products at the pumps have gone up by 12 pesewas.
The new pricing was effective over the weekend and transporters could not hold their shocks when it was announced.
This was because petrol and diesel, as at last Saturday, sold at GHc6.23 per litre.
The new pricing now increases both products to GHc6.35 per litre.
It is unknown if the various transport operators would increase the current fares in view of the new fuel prices to break even.
