Actress, Beverly Afaglo has started a GoFundMe campaign seeking US$20,000 to support herself less than 72hours after her home was raised down into ashes by fire.
Video of her few months past emerged on social media in which she was bragging about her riches and how the rich late father left her a lot of properties.
According to Beverly Afaglo in the said video, she is a lady that receives rent payments from tenants and has the capacity to spend even her rent proceeds on luxury vacations if she chooses to.
Social media users are therefore questioning the whereabouts of those riches as she begs the poor Ghanaians now to donate towards her re-building.
This raises a serious concern about how many celebrities splash their so-called riches on social media giving a certain impression to the followers who sometimes are influenced by those lifestyles to also go all out to become rich quick when perhaps their private lives are so different.
