Election 2024: Volta NDC Women’s Organizer Urges Unity and Collaboration

Fafa Delphia Agbai, the Volta Regional Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a passionate call to action, urging the party’s constituency women’s organizers to unite and work together to ensure a decisive victory in the December 7 polls. With just 27 days left before the election, Agbai emphasized the crucial role women will play in executing the campaign.

At a ceremony in Ho, Agbai presented campaign materials and logistics to 18 constituency women’s organizers, stressing that unity and collaboration are essential to the party’s success.

“We want to reset this country because we as women are suffering; we can’t feed our children,” she said, highlighting the importance of women’s commitment to the campaign.

The campaign materials, including wheelchairs, branded T-shirts, scarves, aprons, and bowls, will enhance campaign activities across the Volta region. Agbai noted that these items will enable women organizers to effectively engage with people and canvass votes for the party’s parliamentary candidates and flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

As Ghana prepares for the highly competitive 2024 general elections, issues like economic recovery, youth unemployment, and corruption scandals are expected to dominate the discourse.

The NDC aims to outdo the New Patriotic Party, but experts predict a two-horse race between the two major parties.
