The Electoral Commission (EC) in a statement has announced that the online re-exhibition of the 2024 Provisional Voters Register commences on Tuesday October 15 to Sunday, October 19, 2024.

The re-exhibition of the PVR online is due to inadequate time on the side of the EC as it works to ensure a free and fair election. The EC says the online re-exhibition exercise is to allow registered voters to verify their details and report any discrepancies for correction.

The statement read, “The Electoral Commission wishes to announce for the information of the General Public, Registered Voters and all Stakeholders, that Re-Exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) will commence on Tuesday, 15th October and end on Saturday, 19th October, 2024.

“Voters should click on the pop-up link at the bottom-right corner of the screen and enter the 10-digit Voter ID number to receive their voter registration details.

“The Public should note that any discrepancies identified must be reported to the District Office of the Commission where they are registered voters for correction. Once the Re-Exhibition Exercise ends on Saturday, 19th October, voters will still be able to check their details Online but CANNOT request for correction of their details”.

From Tuesday, October 15, voters can check their details via short code *711*51# free of charge.

Voters can also check their details from the EC’s website: https://ec.gov.gh.

The EC also added that, “Political Parties are required to use the Template provided by the Commission to submit any discrepancies identified during the Re-Exhibition period.”
