Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region has unveiled a plan to win additional parliamentary seats. He said the plan is to secure five from what the party considers 14 orphan constituencies in the region.

Dubbed “Agenda Win 25 Seats,” Nii Ashie Moore said the plan includes winning the Amasaman Constituency. The Amasaman is one of the largest in the region and is currently occupied by the NPP’s Akwasi Owusu Afrifa-Mensah.

Out of the 14 orphan constituencies, “I can confidently state that we are securing five, and we are not just taking them,” Nii Ashie Moore said on Onua FM.

“We are looking forward to going out there, raising more funds, and possibly coming back and then supporting massively for the 2024 election year. So are we going to be on the grounds working with every constituency. We are doing door-to-door, we are doing lorry station to lorry station, we will be doing shop to shop. Whatever we can do to win power for the NDC, that is what we are going to do,” he added.

While the former Adentan MP did not mention the names of the other targeted constituencies, he disclosed that he is personally overseeing the “Agenda 25 Seats” initiative.

He promised the party would engage in extensive outreach initiatives, including door-to-door campaigning, and interactions at lorry stations, aimed at garnering support for the NDC in elections 2024.
