The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi) has opined that the NDC and their flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama will be ‘beaten’ by President Akufo-Addo as Tyson Fury did against Deontay Wilder.
The vociferous party chairman noted that the NPP will emerge victors in the upcoming December 2020 polls. According to Chairman Wontumi, the success of President Akufo-Addo in managing Ghana’s economy makes him battle-ready against the former President Mahama who is only remembered by electorates as someone who flourished acts of corruption under his tenure.
“It is going to be like the heavyweight match between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Mahama would be beaten mercilessly by President Akufo-Addo. “Just like Wilder believed in his right hand as his main weapon, Mahama believes in lies but Akufo-Addo will deal ruthlessly with him just like it was done to Wilder,” Chairman Wontumi said. He also noted that John Mahama will concede defeat before the entire votes in the 2020 polls are counted. President Akufo-Addo and the NPP believe that they have delivered on their promises made to Ghanaians and are asking for four more years.
“Nana Addo’s only weapon is better performance and allowing God to lead him in serving Ghana.” Britain’s Tyson Fury delivered a dominant performance in his heavyweight championship bout with Deontay Wilder on Saturday, February 22 overwhelming his opponent to earn a seventh-round TKO victory in Las Vegas.
Narrating his ordeal on Facebook, the chief editor at UN news dailies, said he was on his way to the house of Professor Dumor to collect some copies of the late Kola’s books to send to Ketasco when this policeman came accusing him of using a phone while driving.
